Staying warm in the coldest climates requires the best kit and great marketing! Multimat are world leading manufacturers of sleeping mats and systems for the outdoor enthusiasts. Their products include foam, self-inflating and inflatable sleeping mats and accessories for a wide range of camping activities, from family holidays to polar expeditions.
The existing Multimat brand was weak and couldn’t get a foot-hold within the major retailers. So it was decided to re brand to attract a new, younger, more affluent audience, stand off the shelf amongst its competitors and assert itself as a major contender in the outdoor leisure market. A complete brand audit and re-position of their product line was conducted. Be comfortable, sleep warm is the brand promise that came to light after I accompanied Multimat’s Managing Director on the British Army’s West ridge expedition to Mount Everest in the Himalayas. The new branding has been applied to packaging, product photography, marketing collateral, trade press advertising, trade exhibition, video, social media and website.
